Beechwood Cemetery – Ottawa, Ontario

Funding Gap: $7,500

Beechwood is the home of the National Military Cemetery, the RCMP National Memorial Cemetery, and the Ottawa Police Service Memorial Cemetery.  Our multi-year partnership will result in 500 trees being planted on their 160-acre site in Ottawa, with the potential to inspire thousands more in Memoriam plantings across the country. The partnership will see several groves dedicated to honour military, first responders, as well as those lost to COVID-19. Beechwood “Tribute Trees” also offers the opportunity to plant living memorials for loved ones either on Beechwood grounds or as a part of other Trees for Life projects.
