Sunnybrook Arboretum – Toronto, Ontario

An arboretum of 600 native trees and shrubs is in development for 2022 at the eastern edge of the Mclean Estate property, completing earlier plantings of some 1200 trees. Sunnybrook is the largest Veteran’s Care Facility in the country and is also the first North American hospital to make active use of its grounds for patient and staff health and wellness, recognizing the healing powers of nature and trees. We are in talks with Sunnybrook to make this one of our first Hero Groves dedicated to the healthcare workers that have served on the front lines of the pandemic since 2020.
