The Highway of Heroes Tree Campaign’s mission is to plant two million trees in the communities along the Highway of Heroes (Hwy. 401) as a tribute to the men and women who served Canada during wartime, and as a living memorial to the 117,000 who died. While honouring the military, the HOHTC campaign also helps beautify the most traveled highway in North America and helps cool the environment. Trees for Life is providing additional support to the Highway of Heroes Tree Campaign to ensure that the 2 million tree goal is met by Remembrance Day, 2022 and that special, “signature projects” can be added to the Highway of Tree Campaign.
