HOHTribute Update: The World’s Largest Living Memorial Soon to Be Completed!

The Highway of Heroes Tree Campaign is expected to reach its 2 million tree goal this year.

With the spring 2022 planting season just around the corner, it's nice to pause and reflect that this will be the year that the Highway of Heroes Tree Campaign reaches, and likely even surpasses its goal of planting 2 million trees along the Hwy 401 corridor.

Over 1.7 million trees have been planted to date. Each and every tree that goes into the ground this year gets us one step closer to realizing our tree planting goal by November 11, 2022! 

Through the ongoing work of Trees for Life, we are also able to enhance the results of the Highway of Heroes Tree Campaign by adding signature plantings and projects, including a special memorial arboretum at the Ontario Regiment Museum in Oshawa that will be completed later this spring.
