Nova Scotia and New Brunswick

This year, we planted over 100,000 trees in provincial parks in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick with the help of Replant.ca Environmental.

The breakdown of trees planted at each of these 6 parks is as follows:

Blomidon (NS) 8,487
Five Islands (NS) 12,490
Caribou (NS) 9,458
Murray Beach (NB) 10,590
Mactaquac (NB) 48,564
Hopewell Rocks (NB) 11,855
Total 101,444

Many of these locations lost trees due to hurricanes and invasive insects. These 101,444 trees were planted to replenish these areas and add additional trees to enhance the areas natural beauty.

Replant has written some beautiful blogs about each of the planting sites. We encourage you to check them out to learn about the damages which sparked these plantings, see maps of the exact areas of these plantings and to meet the team who actually planted to seedlings that went in the ground.

Thank you Replant and team!
