Prince’s Trust Canada (PTC) promotes green jobs in Urban Nature and Forestry. In the spring of 2022, we will work with PTC in the Greater Vancouver Area as they begin offering a program series that has the goal of planting trees but also brings together a variety of partners to educate young people on the sector’s critical role in fighting the impacts of climate change and promote opportunities to find meaningful jobs in the green sector. At each program in the series, PTC intends to plant approximately 120 trees and single stem shrubs, involving about 20 participants per event, for a total of 720 trees and shrubs.
