Canada Running Series Wrap-Up

The 2024 team was the largest group ever! Everyone successfully completed their runs and collectively, set a new fundraising record. Thanks to your generosity over $6,700 was raised in support of tree planting in the Toronto waterfront area near the race route! 

Speaking of records, Anna, who ran the half marathon dressed as a tree set a new Guiness World Record! Congratulations Anna on your accomplishment and a special thank you to your husband we’re grateful he followed, fed and filmed you the whole way! Thanks to everyone who ran, or supported Trees for Life.

These funds will support our partnership with the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority’s efforts to combat the impacts of climate change within Toronto and also help the Canada Running Series, the race organizers, to offset some of the carbon emissions the race produces. We couldn't have crossed the finish line without your support!
