The 1.23M trees planted in 2021 will sequester over 550,000 tonnes of CO2 in the first 50 years of their life; and
The average mature tree can produce enough oxygen for 4 people to breathe each day. That means that, once mature, these 1.23M trees will produce enough oxygen for nearly 5 million people per day.

Trees remove and fight back against invasive species; and
Expand and enhance habitat for a variety of species including migratory birds and pollinators.

Trees provide wind and snow breaks along dangerous stretches of roadway.
