Richmond Hill and LEAF Honour Health Heroes

Also on October 21st, just north of Toronto, over 100 volunteers including over 20 from our corporate supporter Less Mess, gathered at Beaver Woodland in Richmond Hill to lend LEAF (Local Enhancement and Appreciation of Forests), a helping hand as they grow Richmond Hill’s urban forest. In fact, the last time LEAF planted here was 4 years ago. It was fabulous to see this 3 KM stretch of green space evolving and how much the first planting had grown, which you can see in these photos.

TFL teamed up with LEAF as part of the Trees for Heroes program. These 600 native trees will be dedicated to local health heroes and those in the community who work hard to keep us happy and healthy every day. Thank you for planting with us!
