Major General (Retired) Richard Rohmer
In honour of Remembrance Day, and the completion of the RCAF Centennial Groves, we are revisiting the Major General Richard Rohmer’s story because he recently reached another milestone.
This spring Trees for Life was proud to be a part of the Barrie Military Heritage Park RCAF grove construction and planting. In September, the General received a special gift from the City of Barrie. The waterfront feature has been renamed the Rohmer Roundel in honour of him. You can read more here.
