YOU, Our Donors!

From time to time, we like to feature stories about our Trees for Life Champions, the people who go above and beyond to help us grow our networks, and raise funds and awareness to support the future growth of our organization. Many individuals have done this over the years and earned the Champions title. But we would be remiss if we did not highlight the awesome power of every one of you, our donors. Collectively, your contributions make an incredible impact on the work we do.

Since the Highway of Heroes Tree Campaign launched in 2015, and through GrandTrees Climate Solutions and Trees for Life, we have received gifts from over 5,500 Canadians, companies, and other organizations. The collective power of these groups is a force to reckon with!

As you have likely experienced, we make a concentrated effort to ask for your support in the last three months of the year. In past campaigns, nearly 80% of the funds raised from the general public were donated in this period, typically generating almost $100,000, proving that no matter the size of your gift when people unite toward a common goal, great things result. 

By the end of October, over $40,000 was donated by private citizens, and with your continued support and belief in the power of trees, we will see that number skyrocket before the end of 2023!
